After much promotion, the night finally arrived. It was with some trepidation that a few members awaited the event. Rumor had it that some of the FHM events could be more ‘set-up’ than ‘speak-up’.
Despite this competitor spread propaganda the lads did turn up on the night. It was a night that put the ‘fun’ back into photography. Not withstanding the prodigious FHM wisecracking there were many fabulous images presented on our screen. It appears that the volume of photo trips taken makes up for any lack of trip planning that may occur! It certainly seemed that way when each presenter in turn presented their images from trips at home and abroad.
On the downside – it appears that the elusive FHM member joining window has closed again. In addition we will all want sweeties and prizes with all future Cork Camera Group events. Even future judges had better not turn up with their hands hanging!
